It's true about domestic turkeys being quite dumb. Fired a warning shot at one that got 'pushy' while I took Elle back to Building 9. The bird understood maybe for five minute to back-off, then tried to get too close again. Killed it and a few others along the way.

I don't know how many there was before Thanksgiving, but this looks (to me) a large number of them. Passing various eateries and shops along the way, they all advertised turkey meat.

Wonderful, a possible month long curse of eating turkey.

Jan's pets however seem to enjoy eating it on a regualr basis.

Speaking of Jan, anyone wanting to speak with him will have to wait a day or two while he catches-up on needed sleep. I'll be staying here in his apartment until Elle is feeling better or he wakes-up, whatever comes first.

Speaking of me, yes I'm fine. The red poppies here do wonders for vampires in need.

Current Location: Building 9 apartment #9 (Jan's)
Current Mood: okay

Jan was planning to do just that, only came back here to shower. But it must haved relaxed him enough he couldn't fight-off the exhaustion anymore. Found him wearing a damp towel and curled-up in bed.

... in a way, I'm glad he didn't. I'm not much to look at right now.

He's not looking his normal self either.

The shower did help some.

Along with forgoing bathing and sleeping, doesn't look as if he ate much.

Too thin, haggard with circles under the eyes. Skin slightly grey-tinged, but the hot water helped lessen that.

I will.

Am tempted to dress and carry him to where you're at.

Because it's the sort of thing he would want me to do.

*laughs*

Not that I will, no matter how touchingly romantic it would be.

Yes, Jan is sometimes a 'big kid', reality and fantasy get mixed.

Yea... I've noticed that.

He's a good guy, though. I've grown rather fond of him....

I've always known that but it's funny coming from someone else. So many back in our world only knew us from the self-images we projected to the public, it was rare that anyone knew who we really were.

Hey, hey!

Good to see you up and kicking, man.

*awk*

You guys need anything?
I could see about getting some food or something dropped off, we got leftovers over here, and the butcher off Misery Square is heppy with me for sending more customers thier way.
If your wanting something a but more...rare...that is?

Thank-you, I'm fine and Jan should be as well after some rest and food.

The butcher already accommodates us with pig's blood and whatever meat we want. Good we shopped there before the turkeys came, I imagine the place has already been cleaned-out of steaks.

No... problem... I just... You are one, then? Like, the bloodsucking type? Because in my world... We have vampires... kinda... too. But different. If you're the type from my world, then we might have a problem...

Yeah, worried we'd have a problem there, but it looks like we're good. If you where my kind of vampire, you wouldn't be sane enough to type, much less talk to me, dude.
