Not surprising when most of the other vampires here are either toothless or leashed - why be wary of something akin to a petting zoo animal.

So pathetic. At home, the villagers fled in terror when my sisters and I flew in. The screams were so beautiful.

At least there's pleasure to be gain when hunting small numbers. Easy enough to induce fear when they're cut-off from the main herd.
