OOC EDIT:(2-13-2010) No long threading or action. No party lines either. This phone post is ONLY for leaving messages or doing short conversations. The game is out here, NOT in the IC Phone Posts. IC Phone Posts are a means for characters to get in touch 24/7 via PHONE with one another. That's it. I believe I've found the answer to your question, Warrent Officer.

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
My preference is for Officer, it carries far more clout and distinguishes me from catboys in short pants.

[identity profile] tinybitmad.livejournal.com 2009-01-04 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well, Officer, if you're working against the police force, who are you working for?

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-01-04 08:51 am (UTC)(link)
Millennium - the airship, docked outside the graveyard near the forest line, is theirs.

Mr. Valentine.... I have a job for you, if you're interested. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Re: Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Would I be wrong in assuming it has something to do with today's incident (http://hematolagniac.livejournal.com/2593.html)?

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Today's incident? Why yes. You are wrong.

Re: Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
Good.

What do you need for me to do?

Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
ARTEMIS is in need for a suitable 'Lab Rat'. One of these 'monsters' that roam freely in the underground.

Are you interested in such a task? Or should we look for someone else?

Re: Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
Humanoid or animal?

By the way, there are a number of actual rat species down here.

Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Old habits, my friend. In a past project, we would refer to them as such.

We are needing something humanoid. One of the higher species, yet something still malleable for our purposes.

Re: Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
I knew exactly what you meant.

Consider it done.

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Mr. Valentine...

If at all possible... will you be able to deliver the goods relatively unharmed? We need to be able to make sure it can function on it's own within a short period of time after we've finished with it. Consciousness or lack of it is not an issue upon delivery...

Payment will be delivered upon receipt of the creature. Agreed?

Re: Private//unhackable as stated; ARTEMIS errand

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. Won't be a problem at all.

Agreed; once it's acquired, I'll contact you for further delivery instructions.

Please give me a call when you have the time...

New business associate?

A potential new... 'personal' acquaintance. I did promise to introduce you to some people of higher caliber, did I not?

I honestly didn't believe you'd go thru with it.

So, who is the unsuspecting 'victim'?

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
[He laughs lightly, sounding entertained.]
I'm hurt, Luke.
I am a man of my word. And the idea did so amuse me.

Ah, but remember your part of the bargain~. You must be a perfect gentleman for the first date... I don't want to hear of anything untoward happening to these candidates... at least not without their own consent after that point...

The goal was to find a suitable companion, after all. Not a continuation of what you're used to...

Still interested?

Maybe. I need to hear more first before making a decision.

Re: voice; Private message

I do to some extent.

Will I be getting a brief bio now or not?

voice; Private message

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it's only fair... although this first meeting will be a bit... different than the others will be.

I propose the three of us meet over dinner, just for you to see if there's any interest on your part with the candidate. He will remain unaware of the arrangement at first, I think it best in this particular situation.

voice; Private message

[identity profile] favoritetraitor.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 08:56 am (UTC)(link)
Excellent.

I think you'll find this individual rather interesting. Although serious-minded, and quiet, his personality is proving itself to be quite multi-faceted. A man of many talents, who adapts well to any situation competently. And I'm certain you won't be disappointed with his appearance, as well.

Other than that, you'll just have to wait to meet him to learn more. Is there a particular time or place that you'd prefer?

What ever arrangements you make will be fine.

Hey:

Just letting you know that I've decided to drop the Major. Current plan is that upon delivering the punishment, Virginia will also just explode Major for good. As Walter Bishop has basically been inactivited out of the game, you're left pretty much free in regards to Millennium obligations.

It's been fun playing with you!

Bummer:(

Good luck to you.

Why, hello, Valentine.

[OOC: You're getting Millenium company again. :) If there's something I should take into account, just tell me.]

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-07-25 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
I am sorry for not greeting you upon arrival earlier, Lieutenant, but I'm undercover.

Re: (Millennium filter/Unhackable)

[identity profile] der-freischuetz.livejournal.com 2009-07-25 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
I understand. At this point, I try to avoid attracting negative attention as well. So do you know where I can make myself at home, then? It seems I may have to stay a while.

Re: (Millennium filter/Unhackable)

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-07-25 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
Good and it must remain that way. City's majority have no idea I'm a Millennium member and the few in question probably assumed there was a falling out.

Go Underground and pick a red light district, heavy on the goth. Blood letting tends to be a popular fetish in those areas, you shouldn't have trouble finding room&board.

Keep far away from The Raven, it stinks of Hellsing.

Re: (Millennium filter/Unhackable)

[identity profile] der-freischuetz.livejournal.com 2009-07-25 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
I will keep it in mind.

Popular fetish, you say? Heh. How convenient that is! The additional hint is also appreciated, I will make sure to avoid it.

Re: (Millennium filter/Unhackable)

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-07-25 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
It's best we avoid one another publicly. Until you've mastered filtering, don't use the City Network to get in touch with me.

Now, go and settle in. I'll contact you at a later date.

[identity profile] der-freischuetz.livejournal.com 2009-08-01 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
So, I do hope these filters are worth the trouble getting them. I had to lure the codes out of someone, chase a damn flying Dark Lord puppet across the City and spent hours with its worshipper working to get them as good as possible. Let me tell you, I'd like to shoot something now.

Re: Millennium filter // Unhackable

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-08-01 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Seems your brief moment of indignity paid off, the filter is excellent. You should find it far easier now to connect with the similarly like-minded here.

As for letting off steam, there is a shooting range to help keep one familiar with standard firearms.

Millennium filter // Unhackable

[identity profile] der-freischuetz.livejournal.com 2009-08-01 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
At least it worked.
I hope so, though my search up to now wasn't particularly successful. I've tried to carefully test out some of the people, but most I've seen showed no signs of being of any interest. Although they're certainly useful for unsuspiciously gathering information.

Those are good news now, I'd not want to get out of practise, yes? Besides, my warhead needs a rest anyway from all the flying. Where is this shooting range?

Re: Millennium filter // Unhackable

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com 2009-08-01 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Be patience. Overtime, you'll be viewed less as a stranger and more of a potential ally. With so many do-gooders about, the other side is understandably cautious.

It's located in the area out behind Buildings 4 and 5.

How tedious. It resembles a complicated dance more than conversation, but if it's necessary I will continue like I have.

Very well, I shall inspect this place immediately.

Luke Valentine.

You are perhaps the only entity in this entire City that will remember an unfortunately human-bound AI called SHODAN. The population seems to have had too much turnover for my former allies to remain. Contact me when you receive this message.
