This curse repeat I welcome. It's a pleasure to see Celeste again.

(OOC - Orchid mantis Pic #1 and Pic #2. Pretty predator with fast reflexes. 'Celeste' is Latin for 'Heavenly', a reference to Luke's angelic appearance.)

Current Mood: pleased

She is a mantis.

Huh. What is she, some sort of insect?

Yes. Although, unlike the true orchid mantis, she is far too large for flower sitting.

Ah, I see. Mine is a bird..

Hawk~

Hawk rather. The variety is fascinating, isn't it? All manner of animals manifesting...

I noticed there's a higher rate of mythical animals this time around.

Does this one happen often?

I wonder what the significance of that is-- if your soul's something that doesn't actually exist.

Twice in total.

In some worlds, those animals do. In others, for example the common housecat is a thing of myth or unknown.

Pity, I rather like it.

I told you you'd come around.

Hmph. Well, that's a good point.

Re: [Voice]
Yes, it is enjoyable.

However, those with large daemons are probably looking forward to midnight.

It could make living arrangements difficult. I think a few people ended up with horses... Matkustaja's at least been good about staying out of the way.

Re: [Voice]
Given that daemons need to stay within a certain range of their persons, one can only imagine how awkward things must get with a horse in the bathroom.

A repeat curse...Do those happen a lot?

[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com on May 27th, 2008 12:48 am (UTC)
Sometimes. Speaking in different languages, outbursts into song, gender change and body switching seem to repeat the most

How very interesting. And what type of creature is that?
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread) (Link)
[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com on May 27th, 2008 03:42 am (UTC)
Insect. The common term for Celeste's species is 'praying mantis'.

Nothing against you personally...but Pesche really hates mantises.

[ooc: Totally not him he dislikes. It's this guy (http://manga.bleachexile.com/bleach-chapter-310-page-12.html). Robbed Pesche's master of her powers and memories. Not a nice man.]

Pesche didn't mean to be rude. But there's a "mantis" named Nnoitra Jiruga who did my friend Nel a very bad turn.

You know him? No, mantis. Santa Teresa is the name, I think.

Not surprising. He acts like that, but on the inside he's really quite pitiable. At least Nel-sama always said so.

You're welcome! Is she very small?
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread) (Link)
[identity profile] valentineluke.livejournal.com on May 27th, 2008 01:56 am (UTC)
She's far larger than a true mantis. Celeste is about parakeet size.

I assume the size increase is a safety precaution. Most true insects are quite small.

Having seen your daemon, that would explain past curse induced squirrelness.
